3D portraits made in North Korea from 2013-1015, by Beijing based Slovenian photographer Matjaž Tančič with the collaboration of Koryo Studio. The stereographic images documents some of the everyday people who make up the reclusive nation: the bartenders, doctors, farmers and factory workers. The package includes a stereoscopic viewing glasses as well as a set of lenticular 3D postcard.
Matjaž Tančič (1982) is a Slovenian photographer, who lives and creates between Beijing and Ljubljana. He began his path as a photojournalist for Mladina magazine. He won a Sony World Photography Organisation 2013 contest in 3D category, and won a Slovenia Press Photo award 2012. He was among the 6 finalists in the 2009 "Google Photography Prize" contest.
